App. center of mass on Ulster Rep |

I don't like the balance of my trailer with the car in it and would like to reconfigure it. Alas, my engine is out so I can't determine the center of mass on my SWB Ulster Rep. Can anyone get me close? I know the tail weighs next to nothing and the engine, G/B, tank and rad add a fair amount of weight at the front, so the center of mass must be much further forward of the rear axle. Can anyone give me an approximate location?

I have a1937 Ruby and I am conscious that I should be checking the tightness of the half shaft nuts.
I do not have a socket big enough so will have to purchase one !!!
Could anybody let me know what size socket will be required ?
Thanks
Joe.

Brake Shoe Lining Materials |

Hi,
I want to maximise the braking on my 7 special for normal road use. One of the items I want to improve and replace are the brake shoe linings.
What experiences have people had with different lining materials?
I’m torn between changing the linings myself (which I have done before) or having them replaced by a company such as Saftek.
Other posts have suggested that the Saftek ‘Green Gripper’ is the way to go - has anyone any experience of this material? Is it worth the small additional cost?
Thanks.
Matt
