17 inch Tyres for 1938 Pearl
Posted by: Martin Baker - 04-11-2018, 07:22 PM - Forum: Forum chat... - Replies (3)

I had a puncture on the M3 on the way back from L'Amble d'Automne last month, which totally ruined the tyre (4.50x17).
I have Longstone 4.25x17 on the front. I was wondering what the advice will be to replace the rear tyres, Waymaster 4.50x17 or Longstone 4.25x17?
I look forward to hearing peoples' experience.

Does anyone know where I might find a 2019 AUSTIN SEVEN VETERAN/VINTAGE WALL CALENDAR.
The ones I have seen have all been Classic Cars. Smile

  Nippy Cam Bearing

Can someone tell me the reference number /spec for the centre cam bearing outer race used in the 65/Nippy with a 2 bearing crank?
It's probably buried in the old site but I couldn't find it

Thanks

Charles

  Ulster Rep front shock
Posted by: Erich - 04-11-2018, 01:43 AM - Forum: Forum chat... - Replies (4)

I'm about ready to refit the rebuilt front shock to my SWB Ulster Rep. When it came to me, the shock was attached to the axle with the rubber bushed aluminum links mounted so that the the shock ends attached with the alloy links pointing downward from the axle. I am attaching a photo of how it was mounted. I have looked in photos to see the the alloy links pointing upward from the dropped axle. Which is correct?

  A7CA October Minutes
Posted by: Tony Press - 03-11-2018, 10:37 PM - Forum: Forum chat... - No Replies

Reading the October minutes I was pleased to see confirmation that the A7CA Magazine will be priced at 1.50 GBP including postage to Australia- thank you. I have been promoting the Magazine in our Light Shaft Club Magazine.

There was also mention of the A7CA preserving the valuable Speedex website which has been subjected to a few ISP problems over the years- I personally support any actions in this.

Cheers, Tony Press, Austin Seven Club Inc. Melbourne.
