Once again the Lincolnshire group of the PWASC have run a fantastic event. 
It was a full entry. I could really recommend entering next years event (7th April).
You need to get an entry off Peter Rowlands very early if you want a place (oversubscribed).

The South Wales Austin Seven Club in conjunction with the Hereford Austin Seven Club, all took to the road for a drive around the Brecon Beacons, meeting up in Breacon for a light refreshment before starting off on a most enjoyable run, passing such places as Llanddew, Upper Chapel, BuithWells, Llandefalle before heading home.  All arriving safe and sound. A great day out and great company. S&P.

Brilliant, sunny, day at Cobham yesterday. A challenging set of hills made all the more interesting by the 'blue ice' of the bluebells and an overnight heavy downpouring of rain.

I wonder if any Forum readers have any experience with products that are more commonly used by the VW fans to preserve the rusted look of the their much loved "Rat-Look" vehicles please?

I need to preserve the painting on a very weathered vehicle. I think similar products are used on older motorcycles to keep the same look, can anyone recommend a product they have used please?

My camshaft pinion has a chip out of it so I'm in the market for a set of steel gears with the larger camshaft pinion centre hole.

I have a small lump out of one tooth on my camshaft pinion so am looking to replace it and the crankshaft pinion. Please does anyone know of a supplier? None of our cherished suppliers seem to list these. The car is coil ignition and the crankcase is marked "+2", which I understand means the crank and camshaft centres are .002" above standard.

Dear Friends,

Can anyone help me to diagnose a problem with my ammeter on a 1937 Opal.

When I apply the brakes, the ammeter jumps to maximum discharge. When I release the brakes (brake lights go off) then the ammeter still registers a full discharge. However, if I gently tap the ammeter with my finger then it returns to the normal vertical position.

Under normal driving conditions, the ammeter registers a small charge as expected.
