Good evening.
There was a link in a post sometime in the last fortnight or so which linked to a picture of someone's home workshop which has been designed to look like a vintage garage. I cannot find it now: can anyone else remember where it was?
Thank you.
James.

Terrain Follower by Rally Navigation Services illuminated map reading lamp. Very little used, presently fitted with a 12v bulb, 4" lens allowing illumination of 5" diameter map area. I was going to advertise with VSCC but they charge £13 for miscellaneous ads, and I only want £25 including postage (£20 collected from near Cambridge). Just what you need if doing the Measham! Photo on request.

The gearbox jammed and I have now started stripping it. Four springs and 5 ball bearings came out in the oil and another 3 have since dropped out the drain hole. There appears to be a circlip on the 1st motion shaft bearing but Woodrow doesn’t mention one, does it need to come off?

stator tube ignition plate diagnosis |

I have an ignition/gas plate which is wobbly on '29 car.
I can see it has a bolt to tighten it to clamp something, but I've just realised that the thing it will clamp to is the outer stator tube, which of course needs to move. There is room for some brass shim (which stops the wobbliness), but I imagine the ignition plate must be held in place otherwise there will be no fixed register position for the levers.
This is a cobbled together project prior to me so I don't know what I'm missing, but I'm scratching my head how and what it can fasten on to. (The next bit down is the nut holding the steering wheel.)
Has anyone got a photo on file from sorting something themselves that might throw some light please?!
thanks Jon
I think the inner tube which now ends at the steering wheel nut (and doesnt turn when the steering wheel turns) must have originally been longer to permit the fastening of the ignition plate? Is this a part which requires splitting the steering box to replace?

Hi all, Can someone who has experience of this problems take a look at the picture posted and give me your opinion of the gap on this Nippy. Door adjustment or sag ? ,The gap looks a little large with the door also dropped . The other door is said to be much the same. i have a long journey to view this car and would appreciate any thoughts before doing so . Is sag a difficult fix ?
Regards Rob.

Hi, having just acquired a H1 carb I am thinking about fitting it to my bog standard 1933 PD. The carb has a weighted piston & no spring. Can anyone suggest a safe starting point for needle & jet please? Also could I fit a spring with the weighted piston.
TIA. Kevin.
