Are the large sized screw in core plugs found on the early blocks available anywhere?
I could make some but if they're a standard size it would save some hard work.
Thanks
Charles

NGK BP5ES Spark plugs for Cambridge head |

My new to me "special" ( Cambridge finned head, 2x SU H? carbs) came with NGK B6HS plugs. Looking at the old forum people were using NGK BP5ES plugs successfully. As I think a couple of my plugs were dodgy I bought 4 new BP5ES (less than £6 delivered for the 4) which arrived today. The reach is about 20mm compared to the current ones about. 13mm. Are these new plugs going to be ok do you think?

Oil Pump Vanes |

Dave Dye has a couple of my oil pumps for over-boring and renovation. He's also got pretty much all of the vanes I have that aren't inside engines and they're not too good as is often the case. However, the best two have caused us both to be a bit puzzled in that one is 10 thou too long, the other 8 thou meaning that when a pump is assembled using these vanes the base doesn't fit flush with the pump body. In all other dimensions, both are exactly as they should be. Neither of us has ever seen over length vanes before. Any ideas as to why they should be over long?
New vanes don't appear to be available. If anybody's got a couple of good sets spare, I'd be grateful to buy them.
Steve

- Date format changed as requested;
- UK English will be implemented as a selectable language during next days;
- Automated emails still producing problems, we switched to admin activation for registering for the time being;
- There will be a security update of the board system in the near future, we'll keep you informed, when.
We need to take the board offline for that for about 30 min, so this will take place during GMT night time and will be anounced timely;
Kind regards
