Hello, Apologies if this is a basic question or if it has been covered before but what is envolved in lowering the steering using a wedge - is it quite straight forward?
Thanks, Hamish

A friend of mine has an old photo album showing this car, i azsume supercharged at Brooklands in 1928. The "200".
Also an earlier photo of it with a normal cowl. Obviously and earlier incarnation. It has open centre whhleels in that pic.
Is it a well known car?

A 1925 Engine M14371 has turned up in a load of ruby Spares.
It is complete but has not been moved from its packing crate for photos yet.
I have convinced the owner that it should really go to someone with a 1925 car who needs it. Therefore before it is advertised on the open market elsewhere the purpose of this thread is to ascertain if anyone on here has an interest.

Basic weight of an A7 rolling chassis + engine etc |

I’ve just weighed an entire set of woodwork recently made
For a GE Cup which came to 40kg
Adding in the screen, alloy body skin, wings bonnet etc
I reckon the coachwork total will be about 50kg all up, or 112lbs or 1 cwt perhaps a few lbs more?
My ash timber is 1” rather than the 3/4” of an original body.
Has anyone weighed their completed GE Cup or a bare
running chassis?
Interested to know what my final all up weight of a finished GE Cup will likely be
and how much lighter than say a Chummy of the same era
1926 to 1928?
Hoping I can get to 60mph on the flat!
Regards
Bill G

I came across this whilst browsing a French sales website, a Rosengart Lr2 with the option to buy a new electric drive motor. Interesting .

Dimensions SWB Ulster |

As I mentioned on another thread, I'm shipping my car to Seattle from the UK. I'm outfitting my trailer without the car so need a couple of dimensions. It is a SWB Ulster with a dropped front axle which was not stretched. I need the measurement from the center of front tyre to center of front tyre. I also need the same measurement at the rear(center of tyre to center of tyre). I had initial measurements of 39 inches for front and rear, but need to confirm. It would seem that with the non-stretched axle, the front dimension should be less than the measurement at the rear.
