Morning all
I'm doing an unhurried partial engine overhaul at the moment. At some stage I want to take the camshaft out. Assuming the block and tappets are out of the way, can I just unscrew the square headed camshaft bush locator and slide the camshaft out forwards without disturbing the oil pump ? The round disc above its gear is nicely sealed at the moment and I'd prefer to leave it be.
Having got the camshaft out and on the bench, what's the best way of getting the pinion off the end ?
