Hello everyone after radio silence for quite a while I return with a question, how tight should the Bolts holding the castlated disc on be on the later torque tube (silentbloc) as when I have them nipped up there is a whining noise when driving like a noisy diff and when pulling away a judder however when loose (a lot more than I feel comfortable leaving it) the juddering stops nearly completely and the whining quietens a lot! Just double checking I’m not missing anything out!
Hope to hear back!

Hi, All I can tell you is don’t over tighten them. A previous owner on my car has tightened the studs too tight causing the castlated disc to warp and I am now unable to adjust the disc. I suspect is has made it go cross threaded.

Would you believe it "Her who must be obeyed" refers to my Ruby as the toy.

The bolts only stop the adjuster unscrewing they should not be tight, fit self locking nuts to the bolts and fit a grease nipple in the top of the ball bracket. Terry
