Hi All
Great work in improving the photo. I think it might be a 1927 Holden Roadster (others more knowledgeable will correct). It’s a very pretty car. It’s a shame the shape wasn’t copied here in Britain. Cheers Howard

Beat me to it- yes a Holden Roadster which was made by Holdens in Adelaide, although there are other Australian copies of this style.
I just checked the list of Australian Austin 7 Bodies- Propert made a similar Roadster in 1927 and another builder called Sweeny ? made a Roadster in 1930. Looks like 1927/28 with a round bottom painted radiator and single glass windscreen but fitted with the later Lucas 7" headlights up front . My 1928 Holden bodied Chummy has the 5" headlights mounted up front in what look to be factory brackets. |
