RE: A Picture - Ian Wegg - 15-08-2022 Cleaned up a little... Sorry, got carried away... RE: A Picture - JOHN WP - 15-08-2022 Thank You RE: A Picture - JoeRowing - 15-08-2022 I had a play too - yours is much better! RE: A Picture - Howard Wright - 15-08-2022 Hi All Great work in improving the photo. I think it might be a 1927 Holden Roadster (others more knowledgeable will correct). It’s a very pretty car. It’s a shame the shape wasn’t copied here in Britain. Cheers Howard RE: A Picture - Tony Press - 15-08-2022 Beat me to it- yes a Holden Roadster which was made by Holdens in Adelaide, although there are other Australian copies of this style. I just checked the list of Australian Austin 7 Bodies- Propert made a similar Roadster in 1927 and another builder called Sweeny ? made a Roadster in 1930. Looks like 1927/28 with a round bottom painted radiator and single glass windscreen but fitted with the later Lucas 7" headlights up front . My 1928 Holden bodied Chummy has the 5" headlights mounted up front in what look to be factory brackets. |
