Austin BT12 spanner
#1
Hi,
I am hoping that someone who has an original BT12 tappet spanner could post a photo with dimensions as I have been trying to find an original but without any luck and now want to make a replica until I can find an original.

Any help much appreciated.

Cheers

Is the one you want details of single or double ended ?

Hi Pete,

Thank for the reply, I didn't realise there was a double ended BT12. The one I am after is single ended as per the picture from the Parts List.

I rather thought that was the one you are looking for. Me too !
I imagine you have an early Seven to want the single ended version ?

Well I've learnt something new.

Yes there is a double ended version which seems to replace the single ended one at the introduction of the coil engine.

Here it is on mm square graph paper. If it's the right thingĀ I'll do a drawing later if I get a chance

Thanks Joe,

That's perfect I can measure it off the graph paper.
