I have a Zenith F carburettor that I understand was fitted to Austin Sevens from 1923 to 1926. Apart from the choke spring having broken (and temporarily bodged) it seems to be in good unrestored condition. I have been advised that the shield which I added is incorrect but as there was an unused threaded hole I assumed there should be one.
The essential difference between the F and the more commonly seen FZ is the bottom feed to the float chamber as opposed to a side entry.
A rare carb?
