That access hole for the transmission U J is a little too reminiscent of Casino Royale for my comfort...I assume there would be a squab to sit on?

Some time back there were quite a lot of photos on the web of this car during construction, however I can not find them anywhere now, I may have saved a few onto the old computer, if no one else can help I will get up steam and take a look

Thanks Ian. Would be appreciated. I certainly recognise the car but cannot place where I have seen it. Show catalogue apparently gives no clues as to ownership/origin.

I've also got some pictures saved but nothing like that detail. Recessed straps in the bonnet, tapered louvres so each one needs a different tool. Had seen the brakes discussed but missed that he'd made the front axle. Here's another link with a couple of pics: http://pub25.bravenet.com/forum/static/s...7&cmd=show http://s569.photobucket.com/user/harmitc...t=3&page=1

Well done chaps for finding the links.
So now we know PGS stands for Pea Green Special and that 'Bernard' created it in 2008 before he moved to Devon. I see he posted on the forum up until December 2015. Given the outstanding engineering on the car we'd love to try and get it displayed at the A7 National Rally. Does anyone have contact details for the owner? |
