Hmm! A straight eight Austin Ruby. Presumably two Seven blocks on a common crankcase, so 1494cc and (presumably) 35 bhp which would give a 70mph top end. Now that would impress down at the golf club!

Actually, it was two in-line supercharged twin-cam engines giving a corrected 145 b.h.p. - but don't tell Lord Herbert.... (I've Photoshopped out the bonnet bulges just in case)
