That’s perfect, it sounds like a weak mixture to me, I would spray some brake cleaner around the carb and the intake manifold, while it’s running to see if you get a rise in revs. That would indicate an air leak.

Try revving it with a touch of choke, that would also indicate a weak mixture, if you manage to get it to rev.

One thing I have to ask is have you allowed the engine to warm up on the choke first? If you haven’t, this bogging down on revving is a classic symptom.

If neither of these work, I’d start to look at your spark.
