The reason why the "voiture sans permit" are so expensive is due to a perverse rule in France. If you get banned for whatever reason you can't drive a car, bus, lorry or motorbike, but you can still drive a sans permit or a 50cc scooter as no licence is required for either. Those recidivists that have a problem with the glass trumpet tend to go for the VSP because they are usually still drinking and have balance issues with a two wheeler. Stay well clear!

But if you have lost your licence you cannot drive them!
There is a similar effort in our village (Warwickshire!) but it is a Ligier... I imagine no relation to the driver of the same name! |
