Hi Tod
That looks a very nice car. Well done.
If the Brookfields Special turns out anywhere nearly as well finished I will be very pleased.
Cheers

Very nice Tod! I’m interested in the remote gear change....one you made yourself?

Gentlemen, thank you for your kind comments about my car. It is my intention to use it as much as possible, obviously weather dependant.
Howard, I think I met you at the Guildtown Ceilidh ? I have no doubt the Brookfield Special will turn out nice and look forward to following the progress.
Jay's, Yes the remote was made by myself, it was really quite simple and works well to date. If you are interested PM me and I will strip it and make a few sketches and notes for you. You would probably need access to a lathe and milling machine though.

Thanks for the offer Tod, sadly I no longer have access to a lathe or milling machine. A remote is something I’ve been thinking about for my Ulster Rep....just a shame that all I’ve seen available have been for three speeders.
Cheers

Jay,
That looks really good. I hope that my car looks as good when I get onto it.
Is the mechanism for the remote under the floor or transmission tunnel, or is it just obscured by the perspective?
Jamie.
