Thanks for posting these. The first photo looks like a genuine , if somewhat tired factory built car. Interesting paint? On the scuttle?! I also note that it has later Lucas 1130 sidelamps but seems to be missing its seats? And has a black enamelled radiator shell. Both images seem to be taken in wintry conditions and Gartmore can certainly get its share of snow! The bodywork photo has the bodyshell sitting on a newly restored chassis, perhaps used as a jig? The “snow” in the body picture is the pebbledash on the wall of his house Bill.

You’re right I can see the Pebbledash On the bottom left. Loads of snow in the other pic. A cold days drive in a GE Cup! Putting the finishing touches to the engine today. All the best Bill G
