I think one of the attractions of the 599 was that it was the last V12 car to be produced with a manual transmission, although very few were made in this spec.

WP2652 was a '31 RM rolling bodyshell 'Shed Find' in Gloucester, that got me involved with Austin Sevens. A College friend acquired it in 1971 and I was involved in its rebuild that year.
Structurally sound, I hope it survived being used as a donor body, and not used as a 'hot rod'! Bob
