Good morning Russell. Thanks for posting the pages from Lucas publication 400B, this catalogue has an interesting background being hastily put together in 1939 from earlier publications. As you quite correctly point out cross referencing information from it is extremely difficult as page numbers do not correlate and Lucas had not caught up with manufacturers model changes. However as the world was about to slide into WWII I think they were preoccupied.

Regards from Staffordshire - the creative county

Pah, In Norfolk we have got potholes you could fit Staffordshire into Tongue [Image: biggrin.png]

Sorry, I'm no help with your query.
I have to tell all the Norfolk and Staffordshire folk that they aren't as hard done by as they like to think.
I live in Oxfordshire and think that pothole reporters must have missed a few 100s or even 1000s.

Top 10 councils with the most reported potholes:
1. Surrey County Council - 6,733
2. Kent County Council - 3,194
3. Hertfordshire County Council - 3,124
4. Essex County Council - 2,989
5. Lancashire County Council - 2,703
6. Glasgow City Council - 2,486
7. Buckinghamshire County Council - 2,484
8. Hampshire County Council - 2,411
9. Oxfordshire County Council - 2,345
10. Cheshire East Council - 2,306
