A simple computer question

IPads and other related devices are the devils invention- I stay logged on to the forum on a basic Windows 10 laptop and an 'old' Windows 7 desktop all day.
If I accidently log out both computers offer me the log in details. Never tried on the cheap 'smart' phone or the Windows XP
