The 24T2 I put on my Chummy was not the right one, as mentioned by Ian above (it did not have 1372 on it) - but it did have the right sized choke tube, and I drilled the top flange to directly fit the inlet manifold. This was the only modification needed as the main jet was the variable type so could be adjusted to suit on the car. As a quick solution to get the car running, it worked well - so well I didn't change it in the two years I owned it.

The 24T2 on our TVO Fergie is also the type with the fully variable main jet, but, according to the workshop manual, the choke tube is 17mm.
