Yes, because the rear mounting for the petrol tank is onto the dashboard.

EKP Supplies stock 1/4" BSW x 1/2" Raised Countersunk Slotted in brass for plating yourself - note these are BSW not BSF.

I suspect they are out there if you look long & hard enough, none of the following is exactly right, just what I could find with a 10 minute search.

If resorting to buying screws then plating them I believe stainless can be chromed. (Though if polished I wonder how many could tell the difference...)

I think they came from a stall at Beaulieu Autojumble about 10 years ago, so I guess the answer is no.
