It's a rather hefty chunk of change for what is in actually a 'Special', although I must confess I really do like this little car, it ticks all the boxes for a sporting 2 seater Special & I think the whole body shape & style is just fabulous. Then again I'm equally enamored of our little Top Hat saloon & the pair would suit me nicely.
Paul you are right, but looking at the pictures of Amanda in the car, she was sitting higher, I suspect the German driver has taken the seat out to get a bit more room in the cockpit

Anyone with over size sevens will have a job with the pedal spacing.
Its an interesting car to drive,
I did a car swap with Amanda a few years ago at the Malvern Showground, it was snug for me at 5 ft 6 with size seven hoofs.

I 5'9" and wear size 7 (41E) and I had a sit in it when it was in our local specialist classic saleroom. I think it must have been built for a child or short teenager!
The pedals were verging on the dangerously inaccessible. The rest of the car had me grinning from ear to ear though, a beautiful and interesting project, right up my street.
At the time it was on offer for £26K IIRC...
