I think so Tony but others on here will be able to verify that. My RN has one which will be the original. I like the pull and spin ones especially the tinkling sound they make but the points on them are quite delicate. I haven't heard of anyone making replacement points so far.

OK, thanks for all the replies!
I'm going with the consensus and Andrew's recommendation and have ordered a 25w 2.2ohm resistor.
I'll test it next week off the car and report back if anything melts!

I ran a Seven for 10 years from 1971 with a 6 volt DW3 running on 12 volts, It got a bit warm.
