#1
Hi all

I am after a pair of the cow horn curved front chassis brackets. If anyone has a spare pair or knows of any, please contact me.

Hello

Someone replied, but I can't locate the reply?!

I need the curved type suitable for a replica Ulster build....hope this helps, as I'm not yet au fait with all types yet. On my Ruby chassis, I have the more right angled type brackets which are unsuitable.

regards

These are available new from several suppliers.

The Ruby Low chassis and earlier high chassis have a different forging on the front of the chassis, the angle which these brackets fit are different so I don't think you can use the earlier cow horn brackets on your car unless you twist them.

As Austin indicates you will need to make them for a Ruby chassis

I am expecting to have the special ones which will suit the long chassis back in stock in about 2 weeks (BR947u here).

How do the special ones differ please David?

I recall using your blank ones in the past, which I drilled and bent to suit.

The special ones are made to fit a Rod Yates Ulster body on a Ruby chassis. The difference is at the bottom end where the holes are so that they suit the holes in a Ruby chassis.
