ordered window seals from Woolies, installed them on passenger window today (with heavy duty contact cement). Trouble is, window is nearly impossible to roll up now. Am I doing anything wrong? Same thing happened on my '58 Rolls...gotta be Arnold Swartznegger to roll 'em up. Advice appreciated, as always!

This isn't based on experience of your issue but I have found "WD-40 Specialist Dry Anti Friction PTFE Lubricant 400ml" useful in a variety of situations.
The manufacturer says "This solution contains PTFE which provides enhanced lubrication, leaving a dry clear film that won’t attract dirt, dust or oil. It’s quick drying and also great as a mould release agent."

If its the window channels , I greased those on my 34 pearl with silicone grease last year when I replaced them. They were dry and stiff but now slide free. I did rivet mine in though .
