Can anybody recommend how to remove failing resin coating from a petrol tank. Thanks

Cut a hole large enough to get your hand/arm in and pull the stuff out!
When finished solder a brass patch over the hole.

Frosts do a stripper solvent which works!

I think I used acetone when the sealant failed on my car.
