Handy yes, how much is it? the eBay link didn't work for me. I tend to use an electric file and thread restorer but for studs in situ this would be easier.

Rory this is a deburring tool, it does not recover threads. You can do the same thing with a file, or bench grinder. I expect you already have thread file which is ideal for restoring and repairing threads
