Switch securing - Tiger - 20-01-2019 Hi people Anyone got a securing “spring” for a Ruby ignition/lighting switch? Or any suggestions on how to. Regards Tim Ps To fix the switch to the dash panel RE: Switch securing - bob46320 - 21-01-2019 You could wind your own. Get some 16 SWG wire from a model shop and wind it around a wooden former. You would need to experiment a bit to find a former the right size, probably 2/3 the diameter of the switch body. From memory, you would need about 5 turns. RE: Switch securing - Ruairidh Dunford - 21-01-2019 A suitable jubilee clip will work if you are stuck. Or buy a whole new unit: https://www.theaustinsevenworkshop.com/products/ae0483-ignition-warning-light RE: Switch securing - Timothy P - 21-01-2019 Was it this one you are after for the Lucas PLC switch?
