Rear Blind for 1932 RP - Smiley - 06-09-2018

Hi , Does anyone out there know if the RP originally had a rear blind.?  If so does anyone know where I can purchase one.

Mine certainly had the fittings when I got it.

Thank you Biddlecombe,  A good article.  Not sure that I could make one but if one became available
then I would probably go for it. Cheers

The one in the article looks to be a copy of one from a ruby, probably fitted in an RK or box.

I probably shouldn't say this but I started making a batch of box and Ruby blinds around 7 years ago. Never finished them. So have a pile of bits on the shelf.

Didn't get time to finish them then, and have no more time now?

Tony.

Hi Tony, Did you make all the bits for an RP Box.  If you have a "set".I would be happy to purchase from you and make them up myself.

Mine had little roller blind brackets on the rear window surround, not the Roman type blind in the article.

RE: Rear Blind for 1932 RP - Peter Naulls - 07-09-2018

I'm happy to be corrected but I thought Box Saloons always had roller blinds and Rubies had the drop-down type in the article.

I was considering making the Ruby ones - but now I know Tony has got a 7-year head start on me perhaps I won't  Big Grin

Peter.
