DJ-4 and DJ-4A - Erich - 27-03-2018 In reading about these distributors, I've found references to both a DJ-4 and a DJ-4A. Can anyone enlighten me as to the difference? Is one clockwise and the other anti clockwise? Erich in Seattle RE: DJ-4 and DJ-4A - peter burton - 27-03-2018 Hi Erich, From my assumptions, so I'm probably wrong, 3/4A dizzies simply have side exiting plug lead caps. Not normally found on Sevens but are an alternative if required, and I have seen a picture of one fitted to a Seven from the good old days when if it fits - that will do nicely. Peter RE: DJ-4 and DJ-4A - Nick Lettington - 27-03-2018 I believe the A stands for auto advance... http://www.da7c.co.uk/technical_torque_articles/austin_seven_autoadvance_di.htm but as always stand to be corrected. |
