Are the symptoms the same for first? Are they worse when box oil is hot? Let's not discount dragging clutch, pedal travel against the floor or crank case stop, worn fingers etc. If no syncro on 2nd are you skilled in ddc ? There are remedies . Simple things first before removing the box.

Hi Squeak thanks for your advice well 1st is not too bad. What I cant understand is when the car is at idle and stopped depress the clutch I can go through the gears one by one okay except for 2nd it just crashes on that gear? Yes, drive it day it did get hot also I have put 20/50 in the box a few weeks ago? Will try the 30 sae before removing the box cheers Sad
