RE: Bacon Slicer - Marcus Ling - 27-03-2019 Thanks Stuart, Good thinking, I will see if I can get some of those locally. RE: Bacon Slicer - Steve Hainsworth - 28-03-2019 Hi Marcus I probably have some original screws here in the pile of bacon slicers. I can fish some out in the weekend if you want. Cheers Steve. RE: Bacon Slicer - Chris Garner - 28-03-2019 Sticking with bacon slicers (BS), all three of my cars with this type are attached to the crankcase with 5/16" BSF bolts. I am currently working on a '31 engine on which I was going to fit a BS to get it bench started. The threads on this case however are 5/16" BSW, which is a pain!, and they appear to be the original. Did they change the spec? Anybody know? RE: Bacon Slicer - Ian McGowan - 29-03-2019 For what it's worth, Chris I have a mid 1932 crankcase ( 158596 ) which has 5/16" BSW threads for the BS starter bolts. |
