For people not too worried about keeping to the exact pattern of the GE Cup bulkhead, here is a modified design. It is full height & width, by contrast to the original which only fits below the petrol tank. The top & side edges are rolled and it is connected to the front of the wooden body by 4 rods.
The bottom of this hoop is clamped to the edge of the chassis with small metal tabs so that the hoop doesn't come loose if you take the engine out.
