I've zero experience - but this might help. Note: some require a car with an OBD port and I can imagine that any are 6-volt. It might be that one of these would power it though https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/145807624089?...BMiL_v7qpk I've experimented with one of these step-up transformers on an indicator system fitted with 12-volt LED bulbs and it worked.

I use these on both the Special and Van to power 12 Volt electronic tachometers and mobile phone chargers. They work well.  With regard to trackers I’ve no experience but I’m not old enough yet…. to forget where I left my car (although at 72 I’m nearly there!)
