Yes, that was clear from the outset.

Even the LEDs that claim to be made in the U.K. are actually made in China, then assembled into lamps in the U.K.

I am quite certain that that is the case, but I suspect any problems would be sorted out far easier with someone on the end of the phone in the UK..

Possibly, but that was not my experience from one “U.K.” supplier, unfortunately.

Hence how I came to find out who his supplier was - they were helpful.

I suppose it all depends on cost. If they are cheap enough it may be worth the risk of buying a couple. If they turn out to be rubbish Chinese muck not much lost.
