Love that Buick! Good to see Helmut Kasmirovic. He was very helpful when I was building my first special. I also spotted a Lomax in there. I wish I could do better in German than picking out odd words…

Just to tell everybody that Helmut is bringing his Dixi to the Centenary and gave me the history of it but in German! The daughter of one of our members translated it and I pulled it together as part of a collection of presentations you will be able to see on the Germany TV screen in the upstairs rooms at Moreton Fire Service College. It is rather a long but quite emotive story and you may have to sit through several consecutive presentations until you get to it.
