Ruby Mk 1 instrument gauges rims

Hi There
Does any body know if you can replace the chrome rims on the instruments such as petrol gauge etc, and is there anybody out there that sells a full set ? Thanks Mike

Yes, they were easy to fit, the only one I didn't change was the ammeter as it is soldered on, luckily it polished up OK.

Hi I am still trying yo find gauge bezels for my Ruby and have had a couple of leads , however I am measuring them on the external width of the gage bezel and am finding that they don't seem to match up with what is available, IE petrol gauge- two and three sixtieths, amp gauge - one and three quarters
My question is; are the ones out there based on the inner measurement of the bezel face, meaning the back of the bezel rather than the front of the bezel ? which could be a smaller diameter if the bezel is tapered Mike |
