Some of you might know that Josie and I have completed a run to John O Groats, Lands End and then back home to Findon.
I posted our travels on Facebook as I am not very good at this computer lark!
I left with Poppy a 1934 PD Tourer on Saturday 22 May traveling to my sons his wife and my grandsons at Radley near Oxford.
We then left Sunday morning and headed toward Coventry where Poppy sounded like a bag of spanners!
So we were recovered back to Findon arriving home at 5 o'clock via RH Insurance recovery service. Excellent!
So what do I do ?
Options repair Poppys engine ( suspected front lip problem)
Replace Poppys engine with a 3 bearing engine in the garage.
Get Josie (1936 Mk1 Pearl) out of my sisters garage and travel with her.
So that's what we did!
