If you already have a 6v Dynamo, you can convert it to 12 v fairly simply and to negative earth also. I would think there will be an article or 2 in this forum or maybe have a look at some of the regional club web pages eg. http://www.austin7.org/Technical%20Artic...12%20Volt/
If you don't have a 6v dynamo ...ignore the above. Ian

The topic of converting and operating a 6v dyn as 12v has been covered at length on several occasions. In most basic form very simple but there are important provisos related to limiting the max field current (and, associated, the max armature current) Polarity of basic dynamos instantly reversible.
