Oh God, NO!!!
Well, the rusty LC engine will "make it very fast up the hill". So that's good, then.

That does say GBP 16.00 doesn't it ???

It's now standing at £2K. I'm sure it's all down to that "go-faster" red paint and some poor sucker will snap it up.

Forget the waterski special. I see Odgie's CX500 engined monoposto is for sale... now that I like.

I’d prefer the Odgie built maggot motored special!
You beat me to it Bruce!

But not for £23K

Agreed it is way overpriced, I think the new owner is trying it on...

50 bhp on tap, its very fast?
what it doesnt tell you, is its a box standard ruby chassis, axles, and springs. and im sure bloody dangerous over 50mph. and sitting that high, doesnt help the cars low centre of ballance. it would feel more like driving a 4x4. i dont know what others think adds to the value of a car. but? isnt a ruby chassis the cheapest you can buy? a cx500 is a 10th of the cost of a proper austin 7 engine rebuild. nothing spent on on lowering. i cant see the dials, if any. air cooled, so no need for an expensive rad build, or come to that an expensive surround. im sure that satchel on the front wasnt cheap? but after all that, I LOVE IT. its just that the price tag should be on something far more exotic and rear. tony.

The CX500 is water cooled, Tony. It's one of Honda's first water cooled bikes from the late 70s. Nice little v twin, with 5 speed box and shaft drive, so probably no Austin gearbox either. Does seem a little expensive. Perhaps they got the decimal point in the wrong place on the price ?
