Now you can't apply for a car's history from the DVLA anymore, what other means are there to research it ?

I hope your right, I've spoken to the last 2 owners its KG 4015 and it's a 1934 RP

Well, there is nothing at Gaydon and it was registered new in Cardiff mid 1934.
If you browse the Kithead Trust website you can see if the original registration record exists. Good luck!

Apparently the original registration records for KG (Cardiff B) between 1930 and 1937 are held at the Glamorgan Archives - link below:
https://glamarchives.gov.uk The A7CA Chassis Register shows it as ex Bristol A7 Club back in 2013 - no doubt you've already explored that avenue with the previous two former owners ?

Thanks for that everybody, I've got a old log book back to 1977 but that's it , it belonged to a James William Gardiner of congresbury near Bristol but as to whether he is still alive I don't know

Have you contacted the Bristol Austin 7 Club? James William may have been a member... A request in their magazine might throw up some leads..
