Do any forum members have an idea what the translucent, flexible blue plastic strip around the inside edge of Ruby gauges is made from?

Plastic - ring binder file page separators, probably not flameproof like the originals.

Haven't you just answered your own question Ritchie? not sure what you are asking, the formula for the prewar plastic or a suitable modern equivalent? When I replace them I simply use a strip of blue plastic as close in thickness and shade of pigment as I can find.
