This is on the events page but in case Friends have missed it Janet has asked me to put it in as a posting.
Unveiling of a Plaque commemorating the Baptism of Herbert (Lord) Austin at Little Missenden.
Wed 8th of November 2017.
For some time the North Herts Centre, in conjunction with the Austin Seven Club (London), considered the possibility of having a plaque erected at St John The Baptist Church, Little Missenden, Bucks, to commemorate the baptism of (Baby) Austin. At last we have got the go ahead and a plaque will be erected - and unveiled at 2pm on the 8th of November, Austin's birthday.
We welcome all Austin enthusiasts, preferably in their Austins to witness the unveiling.
(Some members of the A7Owners Club will visit the church at midday on Sunday the 5th of November and the plaque will be available for a preview on that day for any who can't make the Wednesday date.)
There's a great Pub, The Red Lion, in the village. Some of us will meet there for lunch then walk or drive the 100 metres or so to the church. The pub can get crowded so we would recommend booking a table. Their phone No is 01494 862876.
So we have an idea of numbers, would you contact ;
Janet Edroff at o1438 723779 janetedroff@ntlworld.com or

Hope to see you there,
