Hello all,
I'm Pieter and I have just bought my first Austin Seven or more correctly a collection of Austin Seven parts .
The setup to get the car friday, a 1000 km round trip.
The seller had an other Ulster, and we got a ride in it.
Then there is mine
Loaded up in the trailer.
The parts
We wanted an old English name and my girlfriend loves the Jane Austin books.
So ...
Welcome to the family Jane.
Jane has a 1936 chassis and the body work is fiberglass but for the short chassis.
Is mostly complete, but its going to be a long road ahead.
I have still a lot to learn, so expect a lot of questions from me.
The first purchase was the Austin Seven source book
The next things are:
- Tires (thinking about the Longstones 17inch)
- Radiator (any tips, new? second hand?)
- Getting the engine running
- And getting the body fit the chassis
