I had occasion to take the Seven up to Glanyrafon this morning bright and early. The hoar frost on the trees was quite beautiful. Unfortunately the A494 is not the road to just stop for a photo shoot! B****y cold though.

First salting of the year this morning, a little premature IMHO but there it is. I now will have to trailer rather than drive the car to my garage to avoid salting...

Agreed Duncan, no need for salt on the roads yet, though at 8.30 this morning there was ice on the inside of the windscreen on my gardening car. Temperature in the garden was minus half a degree.

At my age, the only passion that I have is for my Seven and Landrover and they doesn't care whether I wear long johns or not.
