It looks remarkably familiar doesn't it, even down to the measurements, though it would look a lot more appealing with a decent grille.

I wonder what sort of person buys one of these?

Does make you wonder, ref the potential buyer, bit like John Stubbs Austin EV car !!!!!
But to be honest I'd rather walk than drive/own an EV,

Would be great with an Austin 7 motor in it. It would be an interesting project to buy one without a motor and install an Austin 7 motor.

I suppose it has a certain appeal but it is bigger than my RN saloon and there is nowhere to put the shopping.

At least the ICE version being a single cylinder sounds a bit like a Seven! I'll stick with my Seven.

If only it had a Suzuki Hayabusa engine in it. Click the images for a better result.

No, all aluminium, Duncan. Handbuilt by David Wortley at home using templates taken from an original. He also made the wings, bonnet, windscreen, dashboard, fuel tank, a complete exhaust system (including the fishtail), hood and hood frame, seats, an interior mirror to replicate the original Demo on the outside - and even an "original-has-yet-to-be-found leather pad on the spare wheel cover for the hood to rest on (etc). It took twenty years to complete - and what a wonderful job it is, a real testimonial to his skill and perseverance.
