You were within spitting distance, had I known I would have had a run over to meet you!
( The hillclimb at Park Rash is a favourite of mine too!)

Hi All
Beautiful day here….so a regular trip round the Elan valley dams. Bumped into a friend (some of you may know!) testing the new engine in his trials car! Cheers Howard IMG_3550.jpeg (Size: 114.37 KB / Downloads: 278) IMG_8070.jpeg (Size: 127.93 KB / Downloads: 281)

Oh, I know him all right. The old bugger's a lovely bloke. Was with his great friend and fellow A7 owner, Wynn, about four weeks ago.

Just been doing some remedial work to the rad cap on the RP. Since time mint imperial, there have only been three out of the four pegs in the radiator neck to locate the cap, and occasionally I have to reseal it. Fortunately the old girl doesn't use much coolant, if any, but it was time to take it off and reseal it because it was splashing out the top a bit. I have used "liquid rubber" this time rather than silicone. It seems to have done the trick. Unfortunately the weather is pretty grim at the moment. We are having an "Episode Cevenole" which means thunderstorms and heavy rain, and the epicentre seems to be right on top of our house, so no chance of getting a run our for the next day or so.
I am forced to get the "Ark Royal" my trusty old Merc out of hibernation to do an airport run this afty, and it's going to get wet. I'm not best pleased, but I'll get over it. Not an Austin Seven but it will have to do...

D day -1 for the 20mm speed limit in Wales.
Unfortunately there seems to be some indecision on the part of Powys CC ?. Howard IMG_3552.jpeg (Size: 148.53 KB / Downloads: 195)

Although it was passed by the Senedd, a poll for ITV found that almost two-thirds of people were against it. Politicians - don't you just love 'em?
