Martrim used to supply them but they do not seem to be listed now but a company called Bresco.com list them in packs of six.

Thank you for that link. Some interesting variations are available. https://www.bresco.com/cgi-bin/ss000001....TION=Go%21
I needed some to go through the rubber blocks on the hood supports, but they have to be at least 20 mm long. Mick Hobday suggested taking one of the two-pronged types, cutting off the prongs and soldering in a length of screwed rod. The suggestion worked perfectly. It's also possible to take a double-length type with the longer 2BD thread, cut that off and drill and tap it to take a length of 3/16 BSF studding.

I think this is just a single height one, but these are the people to talk to for fasteners.

Best I could do. It's not cheap! Regards, Stuart

I have a few old stock, salvage from a trimmer's shop, I've never found a use for them myself. I have the slotted backplates as well. Let me know what you want, all very cheap!

Thanks for all the help!
Stuart - I searched high & low but didn't find that one - well done! I reckon £6.18 for a pack of 10 is OK, though the postage and the fact that I only need two, does end up with them being over £5 each! So, Mick - I'll PM you and buy the ones you have! Cheers all! James |
